This is one of those poetry books that doesn’t demand to be read all at once. It feels more like something you pick up, read a few pages of, put down, and then find yourself thinking about later.
What I loved most is the simplicity. The poems are short and fragmented, but they manage to hold surprisingly big emotions. There’s something very intimate about the way the poems are written. Nothing feels overly explained. Instead, the author leaves little pieces of herself on the page and allows the reader to decide what they mean.
